Fittings

Mainly used in industrial plant engineering, but also in the chemical, oil and shipbuilding industries, stainless steel weld fittings come from the processing of pipes or sheets, or from extrusion and drawing. The application of this type of weld fitting is through the butt welding process.

There are two variants of weld fittings: the EN 10253-3/10253-4 with straight ends and made from raw pipes, and the ASME B16.9 weld fittings with bevelled ends available in both welded and seamless versions.

For EN 10253 weld fittings, the managed range is from 10 mm up to 1214 mm within the 2 mm to 10 mm thickness range, and for ASME B16.9 A/SA403 weld fittings from ½" up to 20" in the 10s/40s/80s schedule.

The stainless steel weld fittings in Tecnica Tre's catalogue are the 90° and 45° elbow weld fittings, the equal and reduced weld tees (or T-fittings), concentric and eccentric reducers, dished ends and type 33 collars or stub ends.
